critical and pressing social issue. Our goal is to have 400 diverse attendees, including community leaders, activists, politicians, and others passionate
about stopping gun violence in our city. Sponsors will have opportunities to network, build relationships, and increase their visibility within important

About

Dont Shoot Guns,
Shoot Hoops

Dont Shoot Guns, Shoot Hoops (DSGSH) is a nonprofit organization, founded in 2021, committed to putting an end to gun violence. Our mission is to help inner city youth and young adults heal from the trauma inflicted by gun violence through the game of basketball on the court and life skills development for living off the court. DSGSH sits down with kids and gets to know who they are and their story. Those conversations and connections get to the root of the problem and dig deeper to see what is below the surface. DSGSH has credible members of the community, who are trained to interrupt cycles of retaliatory violence, to teach new tools and strategies, help connect high-risk individuals to social services, gun violence survivor and violence prevention services to over 950 youth and young adults.
